Our floors showing the ECT icon have been crafted using proprietary reactive stains and fuming processes to mimic the naturally occurring oxidation and aging visual found in timeworn floors. While this gradually occurring process can take years to develop in most hardwood floors, our ECT enhanced floors exhibit that timeless patina immediately upon installation.

 

As these color enhancing processes interact with the naturally occurring tannins and sugars in the hardwood, the color range will vary from board to board. Because of this, we encourage our customers to make product selections from our display sample boards as well as our website pictures and room scenes.
